So apparently, the CEO of T-Mobile, John Legere, is tired of your worthless peon ass using massive amounts of 4G LTE Data, according to PCMag.com. This is mainly targeted to those who are doing mobile computing, using tethering 4G LTE. We all know that streaming HD video all the time, can really make the data meter run up quick. There are a ton of work arounds and hacks out there to get around the throttling too. (You are throttled back after you reach your 4G tether cap) Now I won’t lie, I am a T-mobile user. I use the tethering from time to time, mainly to just use my laptop for a few minutes when I am out somewhere and I am no where near what T-Mobile would be calling a data thief, as I am on my own WiFi 85% of the time. T-mobile has a right to be angry about people stuffing their pipelines with un-metered 4G LTE Data. 4G LTE over the air can get pretty pricey. Do you know how much it costs in cooling equipment, for one Wireless Relay node? Thousands of dollars.
John Legere is known for being a little off the deep end, maybe a little nuts. That’s OK, I like a little crazy with my CEO’s. Keeps me honest. Hes talking about 1% of users, some are stealing like 2TB of data a month. HOW THE EVER LOVING HELL, DOES 2 TERRA BYTES (That’s 2000 gigabytes for all you hurrdurrs out there) pass through a single mobile device. Are they providing WiFi services for the city of Philadelphia? That might not be a bad idea, since that single phone would probably offer better Wifi than any of the top 10 best repeaters that Xfinity WiFi has setup, as most of them are slower than 2 derps chasing 3 derps. I cannot imagine what non sense I would be doing with 2TB of mobile data. Maybe I could stream an endless supply of the Kim Kardashian sex tape onto a large screen in a public park, endlessly on loop. At least that would garner some interesting reactions. Haha.
Some people might claim that they deserve to get an unlimited 4G LTE plan all the time with no throttling or Data Cap. That’s not how the infrastructure works here in the US. If everyone had that, Level3’s already old and tired back bone would be so clogged, it would be slower than games being DDOS’d from CSGO Lounge. I feel like giving everyone unlimited 4G LTE data with no cap would be like that scene in Bruce Almighty when everyone wins the lottery. Mass chaos, death, rioting, cats & dogs getting along. Mass hysteria!
Look, stop being a dick and stealing 4G LTE data. T-Mobile is by far the best deal on the market in the US when it comes to Data. (IDK if anyone else lets you stream music and it doesn’t count against your data cap. If you ruin this for the rest of you. I will find you and I will kill you.
